Featuring original choreography created for an integrated cast of dancers with and without disabilities.

CounterBalance 2021

CounterBalance is the only professional dance production featuring award-winning Chicago artists with disabilities. The 2021 virtual presentation explored creative inclusion and accessibility through movement and technology. Passionate dancers embodied our stories with “nuance and feats of strength” that have “a humbling effect in that, just when you thought you’ve seen it all, a group of talented artists… remind us that we haven’t seen anything yet.”

ReinventAbility contributed to a new project introducing pre-professional students to working with a wheelchair dancer. This collaboration was very well received and presented in Momenta's spring concert.

the inclusion of a dancer with a disability in

The Nutcracker
